I am not sure why I haven’t read or shared my reading, however I have pre-ordered Patrick Rothfuss’ new Novela “A Slow Regard of Silent Things” through a fundraiser Rothfuss put on with Worldbuilders. The Republic of Thieves: Read Along Part III

2890090We are now over the hump of the story, this week we read Chapter 6 thru Interlude “Aurin and Amadine”. With twists happening in both major plot lines a lot has happened. Locke and Jean face the wrath of Sabetha in five year game plot. In the Interlude the group is fixing a broken acting company on lies that may backfire, while Locke is still trying to mend and court Sabetha all at the same time some mixed success. book! I was ahead last week so I need to start reading to be prepared for next week!  This book is so exciting and I am glad I can share this with everyone!

At the Point we are about six chapters and about five interludes into the book and quite a bit has happened. Locke has been healed by a Bondmagi in return to help rig an election that their city Karthain holds every five years. This Election is held by the none “gifted” people of the city but has importance in the Bondsmagi community. Locke and Jean are going to have their hands full!.
